"It's your turn to make a difference"
Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of CASA of Marion County. Our CASA volunteers are essential in carrying out our Mission to advocate for all children who are identified by our Circuit Court as being abused and/or neglected. However, our organization has several opportunities to volunteer.
Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA): CASA volunteers complete 30 hours of initial training through attending our training classes or Independent Study Curriculum. During the training process, Criminal and DHHR background checks are completed for potential volunteers. Then the Circuit Court Judge admininsters the oath and volunteers are appointed to a case.
Board of Directors: The Board of Directors is the governing body of CASA of Marion County. Members must be residents of Marion County and have an interest in, knowledge of, and support the goals and mission of the CASA of Marion County.
Friends of CASA: Friends of CASA support our organization's work while also choosing when and how often they would like to volunteer. Friends of CASA help with fundraising, special events, child focused projects, community outreach, and office support. Contact us for upcoming events or projects, we would love to have you involved!
